EFFECT OF ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT IN BAUCHI STATE
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of environmental factors on entrepreneurship development in Bauchi state. Sampling procedure for the study was through multi-stage sampling procedure which is a combination of any sample and cluster and the research design was quantitative. About 354 questionnaires was distributed. The hypothesis was tested using regression analyses to see whether the variable correlate with one another. Findings of the study reveals that there exists a positive and significant relationship between the three dimensions of environmental factors, i.e., Physical Security, Human Capital, Government Policy on business and entrepreneurship development in Bauchi state. However, the study also reveals that there is no significant relationship between Entrepreneurial Culture dimension of environmental factors and entrepreneurship development in Bauchi state.
